One client, start to finish

From her first click to her birth story, in one app.

Follow one sample client through a practice on Ordani, and what each step replaces.

  1. First inquiry

She books a consult from your page.

Your real open times, on a page you share anywhere.

    Instead of Calendly.

A sample doula’s booking page on a phone: a free 30-minute consultation, a 60-minute prenatal visit and a 90-minute postpartum home visit to choose from.
  2. Before the first visit

Her intake forms come back from her phone.

Health history and birth preferences, filled in from her client portal.

Instead of Google Forms or Jotform.

A sample client’s Birth Plan Preferences form in her client portal on a phone, under a note from her doula to fill it in before their next visit.
  3. Hired

She picks a package and signs your contract.

Proposal, package and e-signature in one link.

    Instead of HoneyBook and DocuSign.

A sample proposal on a phone: a birth doula package prepared for a sample client, from her doula’s practice.
  4. Labor day

On birth day, you log labor as it happens.

Time each contraction on your phone; the count, frequency and length update as you go.

Instead of a contraction-timer app and a notebook.

Labor mode on a phone: the contraction timer, with twelve contractions so far, five minutes apart and 72 seconds long.
  5. After the birth

You bill Medicaid without a biller’s cut.

File the claim from Ordani and resubmit free if it’s rejected. Billing services can keep 8–20% of every claim.

    Instead of a billing service.

The Bill Medi-Cal card on a phone for a sample client due October 20: a service code, a diagnosis and the date of service, then Build Medi-Cal claim.

Weeks later

She gets her birth story.

You share the story of her birth from Ordani, on a page her family keeps.

No other app does this.

The Story of Amani

September 15, 2026

The night your daughter arrived, the rain was steady against the kitchen window. You held your partner’s hand and the world narrowed to one room, one rhythm, one breath. By morning, Amani opened her eyes to lamplight and the smell of fresh tea.

Questions

What birth workers ask first.

Straight answers about what Ordani does.

Doulas, midwives, birth centers, lactation consultants, postpartum doulas and childbirth educators. You pick your practice type when you join.

Your booking app, your proposals, contracts and invoicing app, your e-signature app, your forms, your contraction timer, and the billing service that files your Medicaid claims. One app, from the first inquiry to the birth story.

It’s one app instead of five subscriptions. Starter is $29 a month for everything a practice runs on, including one Medicaid claim a month. Pro is $59 a month for unlimited Medicaid claims, coverage checks and the QuickBooks, Gusto and Stripe connections.

Yes. You file claims from the same app you invoice from, and Ordani keeps no percentage of what Medicaid pays you. Billing services can keep 8 to 20 percent of each claim; Loula, for one, keeps 17%. Medi-Cal pays a doula up to $3,263.31 per birth, so a 17% fee can take up to $554.76. A rejected claim is resubmitted free on both plans.

Yes. Your clients’ Medicaid IDs and the claim files sent to Medicaid are encrypted before they’re stored, and every time a client record is opened, it’s written to an audit log that can’t be edited or deleted. You sign a Business Associate Agreement with Ordani when you join.

Yes, on Pro. Invoices and payments you record in Ordani sync to QuickBooks, Gusto brings your payroll and contractor payments into Ordani, and Stripe takes card payments on your invoices into your own Stripe account.

Yes. The contraction timer and your notes keep working on your phone with no signal.

Yes. Intake forms, the birth plan and your contract open in her client portal on any phone, and she signs there.
